What Did Jesus Say About Salvation

John 3:3         Jesus … said unto [Nicodemus], “Truly, truly I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jn 3:16           For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

Jn 3:18-21      “He that believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation: that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does truth comes to the light that his deeds may be shown, that they are worked in God.

Jn 4:10,14      If you knew the gift of God and who it is who says to you, “Give me something to drink”, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water… whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Is 55               Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and he who has no money; come, buy and eat. Yes, come buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to Me, and eat what is good and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear and come to Me; hear and your soul shall live.

Jn 7:37-38      “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.’” This He spoke of the Spirit, which those who believe on Him should receive, for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Jn 4:23-24      But the hour comes, and now is, when true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Jn 5:24, 25-29 Truly, Truly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death to life.

Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming and now is when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they who hear shall live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgement also, because He is the Son of Man.

Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth; they who have done good to the resurrection of life, and they who have done evil to the resurrection of damnation.”

Jn 6:29           Then they said to Him, “What shall we do that we might work the works of God?”

Jesus answered and said unto them, “This is the work of God: that you believe on Him whom He has sent.”

Jn 6:33, 35     …the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world …. I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall never hunger and he who believes on Me shall never thirst.”

Jn 6:39-40      “And this is the Father’s will who has sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

And this is the will of Him who sent Me: that everyone who sees the Son and believes on Him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jn 6:47           Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes on Me has everlasting life.

Jn 6:63           It is the spirit that makes alive; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.

Jn 8:12           Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.”

Jn 8:24           “I said therefore to you that you shall die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins.”

Jn 8:31-2; 36  Jesus said … “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free …. If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”

Jn 10:7, 9       Truly, truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep … I am the door; by me if anyone enters in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.”

Jn 10:11, 14   I am the Good Shepherd; the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep … I am the Good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine.

Jn 10:14-18    I am the Good Shepherd, and know My sheep and am known of Mine. As the Father knows Me, I know the Father and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring and they shall hear My voice and there shall be one fold and one Shepherd. Therefore does My Father love Me, because I lay down My life that I might take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again.”

Jn 10:27-29    My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, and I give to them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone pluck them out of My hand. My Father who gave them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of My Father’s hand.”

Jn 11:25-26(40)   Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes on Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes on Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

“Did I not say to you that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God?”

Jn 12:31-32    “Now is the judgement of this world; now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, shall draw all men unto Me.”

Jn 14:1-6        Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God; believe also in Me.

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself that where I am you may be also.

And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.”

Jn 14:18, 26   I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you … But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.”

Jn 16:7-13      Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, it is beneficial for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He is come, He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement; of sin, because they do not believe on me. Of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgement because the prince of this world is judged.

I have many things yet to say to you, but you cannot bear it now. However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear shall He speak; and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me, for He shall receive of Mine and shall show it to you.”

Jn 14:21,23-4 He who has My words, and keeps them, is he who loves Me, and he who loves Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will reveal Myself to him.

If a man loves Me, he will keep My words and My Father will love him and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who loves Me not, does not keep My sayings; and the word you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

Jn 15:1-2, 4-6 I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that bears not fruit, He takes away, and every one that bears fruit, He purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine, no more can you, unless you abide in Me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, that one brings forth much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.”

Jn 15:13         Greater love has no man that this: that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jn 17:3           This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Jn 17:17         Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth.

Jn 18:36-7      My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now, My kingdom is not from here.

Pilate said to Him therefore, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Jn 20:29         Jesus said to [Thomas], “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are they who have not seen, and have believed.”

Rev 2:7,11,17,26-8; 3:5,12,21           To him who overcomes:

… will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of thegarden of God.

He who overcomes shall not suffer the second death.

… I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written which no one knows saving he who receives it.

… will I give power over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they broken to shards, even as I received of My Father. And I will give him the morning star.

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garment, and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

… will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out. And I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, new Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.

…will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame and am sat down with My Father in His throne.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Rev 19:7-8      Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His bride has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be dressed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Rev 21:3-7   And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, “Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and God Himself shall be with them, their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.” And He who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write: for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him who is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be His God and he shall be My son.”

Rev 21:22-27  And I saw no temple [in the city], for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it and the Lamb is the light of it. And the nations of them who are saved shall walk in the light of it, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles, neither that works abomination, or a lie, but those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Rev 22            …a pure river of water of life …. proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb… in the midst of the street of the city, and on either side of the river, the tree of life, which …yielded her fruit every month… the leaves of the tree for the healing of the nations…there shall be no more curse…[God’s] servants shall see [God’s] face, and His name shall be in their foreheads, and there shall be no night there, and they need no candle neither light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light…. “And behold, I come quickly and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be”…. Blessed are they who do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.

“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning star.”

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come”, and let him who hears say, “Come.” And let him who is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
